Easier to become a customer
A website where customers find what they need and understand how to order or ask for a quote. I can improve the site you have, or build a new one.
Digital help for small businesses
Is something taking far too much time, are customers struggling to find their way, or is there an idea you never get round to?
I help small businesses find smart ways to sort that kind of thing out. We look at your working day, pick a place to start and try things out. You know what we're aiming for and what it costs before I begin.
We start with a chat, with no obligation. You don't need a requirements document.
The things that keep getting put off
Maybe you just need someone to call when something should be simpler, look better or finally get online.
A website where customers find what they need and understand how to order or ask for a quote. I can improve the site you have, or build a new one.
Do you keep having to ask for more details before you can help a customer? We look at what you need to know and how to make it easier to get it. Then you can spend more time on the job itself.
Do you enter the same details in several places, or spend a lot of time keeping track? Show me how you do it today. Often it only takes small changes to make a recurring task easier.
Do customers understand what you can help them with? I can help make it clear on the website, in a presentation or in what you share. I write, make content and edit video.
Have something else entirely in mind? Tell me what you need and I'll look into whether I can help.
You can try them yourself
These are my own projects, not a list of client work. Some I made to learn, others I've worked on for months.
My mum, who is 67, had an idea: could I make a colour picker for the patchwork blanket she wanted to knit for her granddaughter, Jenny?
Less than a quarter of an hour later the first version was online. She could try colours and patterns before she started. It turned out to be more than she had pictured.
It was the look on her face when she saw it that got me going on the idea of taking on work. I want to help small businesses get things made that they wouldn't otherwise have had the time or the know-how to make.
This was a small, limited prototype. A finished customer system naturally takes more work and testing.
Pick colours, fill in the squares and see the pattern before you start knitting. Save it as an image on your phone. A small family project that made me want to do this for more people.

An analysis platform for international horse racing. Here I built the whole way from data and calculations to the website people use, with a course and other tools around it.

Participants hand in tips, follow each other's picks and see where they stand on the leaderboard. A solution built around one specific activity, with rules and deadlines that hang together.

Where is the weather good when you have time off? A travel tool that uses the forecast to suggest places to go. With search, destinations and a wheel of fortune for anyone who can't choose.

A whole course portal, with content, illustrations, a chapter menu, exercises and saved progress. Participants get to try what they learn in the tool itself. Built as part of Mr. World Pool.

Work samples, stories and words from people who know me, gathered on one page. I made it for my own job search. It also gives you a better picture of who you'd be working with.
Get to know me a bitHow we start
You should know what you get, what it costs and what happens afterwards. We don't need to decide everything you'll ever do, just where we start.
We have a video call, or meet if that suits. You show me what's awkward or explain your idea. I can often sketch a first version while we talk.
You get a written proposal with the delivery, the price and the date. We also agree how we'll check that it works. More work needs a new conversation.
You see it along the way and test it before we call it done. I show you how to use it. If you want help after that, we agree the next step.
Predictable for you
I suggest a fixed price for limited jobs. If you need help regularly, we can agree a fixed monthly frame with clear priorities and agreed capacity.
If I can't deliver what we agreed, you don't pay for that delivery.
We write down what this means before we start. Any costs for a domain, hosting or other services must be approved by you in advance. Follow-up and maintenance are agreed separately.
You'll be talking to me
I've spent the last year building my own products and finding out what I can do with AI in practical work. Before that I worked with organisational development, apprentices and digital services at Ikomm, among other things.
I like learning from people who know things I don't. Show me how you work and what you're struggling with, and we'll find out where I can contribute. Most of all I'd like to get to know a few businesses I can do many things with over time.
AI is a big part of my toolbox. You deal with me, and I'm responsible for what I deliver.
BetterCV is still in development and not officially launched. But my profile is open, and there's plenty to read there if you want to know more about me before we talk.
No. A task you're tired of, or an idea you want to look into, is enough to start with. The first conversation carries no obligation. If an existing tool does the job better than building something new, I'll say so.
We agree who will run it, which costs continue and what you want help with. You get the agreed files and access, and you'll know how to use the solution. Further work doesn't start by itself.
Yes, that can be a good place to start. Show me the solution and what's difficult. I need to look at access and limitations before I can promise what I can do.
We clarify which data and access the job needs before I begin. For a first demonstration we prefer sample data. Don't send passwords or sensitive customer details in the first email.
Let's start somewhere
Send me a few lines about the business and what you want to get done. We use the conversation to find out whether I can help and where it makes sense to start.
A few lines is enough. You don't need to know the technical words.
I'm based in Norway and work with most people over video. Write to me and we'll find a time.
You'll find me on LinkedIn too
